Reginald D. Hyde brings decades of national security career experience having worked in senior positions within the intelligence community and helping to stand up In-Q-Tel (IQT), where he focused primarily on cyber security technology as well as big data and advanced analytics. Mr. Hyde is also the Executive Director of the University of Alabama Cyber Initiative and sits on several corporate advisory boards.
Montgomery Kersten works with development-stage companies as an independent board member, investor and advisor on strategic initiatives. Mr. Kersten was the co-founder, and CEO of VitalSigns Software, and today serves as the independent board member of several Silicon Valley private companies.
Brian Martin is a Sr. Associate at Venedge Capital where he works with companies in the areas of cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and has been working in the technology sector for over 15 years. He started his career with Matrikon (acquired by Honeywell) delivering projects in the New York area and prior joining Vanedge, he served as the Chief Security Officer of BC Hydro.
Brian is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Engineer (PE New York State), and received his M.B.A. from Queen’s School of Business and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Alberta.
Chris Tucker is the creator of Mapstory.org, a companion to Wikipedia, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mapstory Foundation. In addition to his work at Mapstory, Chris also manages Yale House Ventures, a portfolio of technology companies, social ventures and public entrepreneurship initiatives, and can also be found at a number of think tanks he supports including the Center for National Policy and the Institute for State Effectiveness.
Previously, he was the President and CEO of a geospatial intelligence firm that he took from startup to acquisition, was the founding Chief Strategic Officer of In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture fund, and served as a Special Advisor to Columbia University.
Throughout his career, Chris serves or has served on a variety of other public sector, government, and non-profit boards including: the Open Geospatial Consortium, the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, OpenPlans, the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, the Defense Science Board Intelligence Task Force, and the American Geographic Society.
Andy is the CEO of Boundless and previously held the role of the Vice President of Professional Services. A commercial pilot and self-taught geographer, Andy has been working with GIS for nearly 15 years and can often be found working from one Boundless’ many locales, or representing the Boundless brand at a number of industry events and philanthropic endeavors throughout the year. He resides in St. Louis with his wife and four kids, where he enjoys hiking, fishing, and being a novice woodworker – when is he is not camping out with the Boy Scouts.
