Visit Boundless at FOSS4G 2017

The Boundless team is excited to be attending the Free and Open Source for Geospatial (FOSS4G) conference August 14-17th. FOSS4G is an annual event held in a different location each year, we look forward to catching up with you this year in Boston.

A lot of work goes into holding FOSS4G. Boundless would like to thank the organizers and is proud to sponsor this great community event.

Tips for Attendees

FOSS4G is the highlight of the open source community calendar with a wealth of ideas, enthusiasm, and opportunities. The event is billed as the meeting-of-the-tribes, bringing together technologies and project teams from all over the technical landscape.

Workshops are an additional cost and tend to fill up quickly as they offer hands-on training on open source – often with project members. If a workshop you are interested in fills up, please check out Boundless training for online and on-site instruction.

This year the Boston organizing committee is providing a mobile phone application to help you map out which talks you would like to attend. Presentations are recorded, so do not panic if talks you really want to see are scheduled concurrently.

It is great to see FOSS4G 2017 providing a strong business presence including a marketing workshop, a b2b function, and a great series of presentations, panels, and talks.

Finally, much of what makes the event great is the social activities, the birds-of-a-feather breakout sessions, the ideas shared and the stories you bring home
