Boundless January 2017 Newsletter

Newsletter Q1 2017

Andy Dearing CEO Boundless Hello,
As we enter the new year, one of our resolutions is to be in closer touch with our friends of Boundless. This inaugural newsletter is the first step, with the goal of keeping you more in-touch with Boundless – product releases, corporate events, technical how-to’s, customer success stories and more.

As we all know, the world of location-based data is exploding with opportunities. With the surge of location-enabled sensors hitting the market, paired with a rich foundational geospatial content sources that exist today, we are only at the beginning of understanding the true potential of what decisions can be made with this information. At Boundless, we believe the best way to make sense of this information is through an open source GIS. Our pledge to you: we will provide world-class resources to help you realize your full potential through an open platform.
One last thing: at Boundless, communication is always a two-way street. The best ideas come from you, our customers and partners. So let us hear from you. Send a note to me at ceo@boundlessgeo.com; I really want to hear what we can do to help you!
Thanks, Andy…

News

The past year has seen many changes at Boundless. We’ve launched two new products, Boundless Exchange, Boundless Desktop and an online ecosystem–Boundless Connect, both of which are available under a commercially-supported subscription service.

Connect Boundlessgeo

To complement these launches, we also unveiled two new websites: boundlessgeo.com and connect.boundlessgeo.com. We invite you to explore these online spaces–and while you’re at it, take a moment to fill out our User Feedback Survey. Your input will help drive our product roadmap in 2017 and beyond.

Community Corner

We’ve made great strides in the open source GIS community this year. We have added more committers to community projects and released our first ever Open Source Report Card.
